Aisha Salam, D.V.M.

Dr. Aisha's love for animals began very young when her parents rescued and adopted their first cat, Tigger. She became obsessed with animals and wanted to know about them as much as possible, hence pursuing becoming a vet.

She graduated from the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences Lahore in Pakistan at the top of her class in 2009 and pursued her career in Equine practice in Dubai. She is a member and an official of the International Equestrian Federation.

Dr. Aisha has always kept herself surrounded by dogs and cats — if they were her own pets or abandoned pets — she felt connected to them, just as she did with with horses. Currently, she is studying to become a certified Veterinary Acupuncturist.

She moved to the US in February 2021 and obtained her US Veterinary license in Jan 2023. Dr. Aisha lives in Cumming with her husband, Ali, and cat, Wazza. When not with animals she loves hiking with her husband and going to stand-up comedy shows. They enjoy working out together and exploring new places to eat.
