Alicia A. Moon, D.V.M., C.V.A.

Dr. Alicia studied at the University of Georgia and majored in Biology. While in college, she worked as a kennel assistant in a holistic veterinary practice and worked her way up to a technician position.

She then decided to take the next step from technician to doctor—continuing her studies at the University Of Georgia College Of Veterinary Medicine. While in vet school, she became more interested in exotic animal medicine and started working for an exotic practice.

Dr. Alicia graduated in 2008 with a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. She pursued experience in holistic veterinary medicine and completed her acupuncture certification though IVAS (International Veterinary Acupuncture Society). She enjoys practicing small animal and exotic medicine and surgery, along with offering alternatives such as acupuncture and herbal medicine to give her patients the best quality care.

She started a mobile vet practice, Moon Mobile Veterinary Services, after doing acupuncture treatments and examining pets for her friends and family in their homes. Since childhood, she's had cats, dogs, hamsters, and rabbits for pets. She truly loves animals and looks forward to providing your pet the best quality care.
